CBS sports claims that someone close to the Arkansas program called in and reported that a deal was close to being finished that would bring Mike Anderson to Arkansas to replace the recently fired John Pelphrey. The report came shortly after a tweet from a Tulsa news reporter that claims his sources tell him that Anderson will be announced as the new coach at a press conference Sunday March 20.
ESPN reported early Sunday that Arkansas has not interviewed Anderson. The Columbia (Mo.) Daily Tribune reported that Anderson was scouting prospects in Columbia and Hutchinson, Kan., on Saturday.
It is now being reported that player's from Missouri are now starting to tweet that Anderson has left...
